An investigation into the long-term and short-term physiological and psychological adverse effects of industry standard psychotropic drugs utilized in the management of psychotic and anxiety symptoms and disorders. Many times these pharmacological treatments have a more detrimental effect than the actual diagnosis or symptom resultant in long-term physiological damage or psychological detriment. In many cases, if a universal adverse reaction is experienced by those prescribed after FDA clinical trials then a case for litigation is had.

Case in point:

Abilify class-action in relation to known adverse reactions to the drug Aripiprazole; specifically, compulsive gambling, hypersexuality, compulsive shopping, and weight gain. This in consideration of legal ramifications resultant from the probable increase in illicit behaviours specifically in individuals who suffer from co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.
